When is the 2019 federal budget?

The 2019 Federal Budget is approaching. Every year, the date of the Budget is kept nearly as secret as the contents of the Budget itself. Usually, after weeks of rumours and speculation, the government announces the official date a week or two in advance. A recent article by Reuters revealed that the Liberal's 2019 Budget will include prescription drug funding, according to sources. Interestingly, these sources also stated that the 2019 Federal Budget is expected some time in the week of March 18. Since the Budget is usually not on a Monday or Friday, this narrows down the date to March 19, 20, or 21, provided that the source is correct and the date is definitive. The blog will be updated again once the government officially announces the Budget date. I'm sure the tax community is eagerly waiting to learn what new tax measures will be revealed this year.
